Like hippy, like dog

"New research shows that people look for the same qualities in a pet as they do in a partner"
This logic reversed a little - same qualities in partner as pet. So, does hippy scoot on his ass on cold tile floors/gravel, let off windys then run away afeared, lick the sofa, baroo when he is lonely, do a mungry dance when he is awaiting his tea, spend ages arranging his bed then sleep next to it, rest his snooter over his beer lest it be stolen?
Possibly.
