So Charles Kennedy has resigned then - as some caller said on R4 today perhaps its time to out the rest of the MPs who have "issues with alcohol" (My expression - I dislike the term alcoholic)

I am sorry for the fella and he did so much for the Lib Dems, but this last two days took away any dignity he could have had in his exit. I don't think it was the denial that made him hang on - more the euphoria that accompanies the early days of recovery.
