Jan. 17th, 2005 12:54 amHumans spent the weekend painting the kitchen and dysoning our spare dog hair to oblivion. Dysonism - similar to excorism but doesn't require a priest.
We doglets spent our weekend watching the Dog Child dig many holes and then lying in them, keeping the Dog Child amused with endless games of Slippy Dog and then playing footy with dr_funkenstein
Next weekend our humans are actually going to "Leave the House" for something other than Work, Essential Consumerism or Dog Stuff. Stereo Chemistry are doing a little shindig with Piranha, a benefit for Jillsday at the Waggon & Horses, Wolves. Psytrance and NRG hard trancey stuff.
Its an unbelieveable ten years since Jill was killed under the wheels of a truck whilst peacefully protesting about live exports and particularly veal exports. http://www.jillsday2005.co.uk/
The plight of veal calves can make even the most hardened meat eater flinch
During their brief lives, they never see the sun or touch the Earth. They never see or taste the grass. Their anemic bodies crave proper sustenance. Their muscles ache for freedom and exercise. They long for maternal care. They are kept in darkness except to be fed two to three times a day for 20 minutes. (from http://www.britishmeat.com/veal.html)
